Staying off topic.......not a bug, but....i took this a couple of years ago down at tekapo......the result of 1 hours driving in a -10c fog.



Still makes me feel cold just looking at it.........

Marty , One off those Naval books you gave me , as old as the b/w photo is , the Northern convoys .. ICE , the sailors on board these ships come Merchant or Warship were out in the conditions on deck chippin away at the ice .. as silly as it sounds the stuff could easy make a large or small ship top heavy and capsize ! those waters ..nah not for me !

Glad they(books) were of use....Ive seen film of huge amounts of ice forming on ships , just amazing. But untill that tekapo trip, i had never "watched" it forming on all the "sticky out" bits on a car.
The aerial looked like a christmas tree, but it fell off before i could a pic.
And, the car wasnt mine...company car,.. and you needed a fuel tanker to follow you....thirsty german beasty....but nice smile.gif
