Are one of you able to help me out here ? Im having a debate with some rivet counting wanna be plonker. dry.gif .... on another forum about 2 things.

1st thing!!......the hawker tempest WAS powered by the Britsol centaurus ....and ...the napier sabre engine....true?....i think so.

2nd thing!!....The HP Victor had a control "yoke" and the throttles were located on the left side of the pilot (like the B-29).....and the Vulcan, had a fighter type stick and throttles on the centre pedestal.....both correct....i belive so.

Not sure how i got into this....but people like this dork really get up my nose.....i suggested doing a google search to him....to which he replyed....'why should i waste bandwidth confirming what i know"...... laugh.gif ......anyway....whatever.

Just needed the homeboys to confirm Im not going nuts.............

Cheers

2nd thing - yes correct on both accounts. Rather back-to-front set ups, but a quick google on images verifies this easily.
