Auckland Intl Airport

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby Nzeddy » Tue Aug 17, 2010 11:20 pm

I'm now improving the stock FSX NZAA to make it all realistic and look cool with alot of features and have removed the old runway and ILS systems for 23R and 05L.

Features:
Freeware!
Old runway removed along with it's ILS system. (rwy 23R & 05L)
Static objects, airstairs, ground vehicles, cargo boxes, tow trucks etc
Custom buildings and objects made with Sketchup.
New runway (only when it's done in real life when I haven't released this scenery)
and more stuff

excellent news mate, I would have done it myself except that my scenery design skills are inclined to forget things such as Runways, Buildings etc winkyy.gif

NZeddy.....another terraformer.
You know, if we ever need to escape this little blue dot we live on, and have the ability to become virtual.....then i really hope that , You, Mike, Timmo, Robin,Lawrie and Ian are here to do the job.. notworthy.gif .....i would offer my help, but my design skills have only ever been tested once....when i made that donut in google sketchup rolleyes.gif

Thanks for your effort....cheers thumbup1.gif

Here are some Pre-Alpha screenshots. It's still a work in progress. I think it's coming along nicely. Umm.. just ignore the little errors you see. lol

EDIT: Screenshots removed as NZAA looks much better now. I've posted a teaser shot down below. smile.gif

Good on yer, Eddy! thumbup1.gif

I hacked an AFCAD for NZAA myself a short while ago, so I appreciate the work involved! Have a look on Flightsim.Com for NZAA related stuff and you'll find it. It may be of some help to you.
