Yes it was a very dark day when queen helen said it was going to chop off the Airforce's testicals ,roll them in batter,deep fry them then cover them in sugar and call them doughnuts..a dark day in New Zealands proud aviation history...I am happy to say I lived on Whenuapai when there was still balance in the force and the dark side (Queen Helen) had not yet reared its narly head .
