Hi all,

Im looking at getting Trackir5 pro. Does anyone know if it frame rate hungry? Also First Games are selling for $249.99. Is this a good price for this product? Any feed back would be appreciated.

Cheers

Best thing you can do for the sim. Its not cheap but it'll change your FS world. If your machine runs FSX adequately then running TrackIR in the background will have negligible impact on frames. (Anyway, its worth sacrificing a couple for the immersion that you get).

TrackiR5 on one monitor wouldnt really be using it to its full potential but if you have triplehead2go and prefer virtual cockpit view then TrackiR5 would really enhance the immersion factor by a 1000%. Its a good way to see your whole eviroment both inside and outside the cockpit. Personaly I couldnt sim without TrackiR5, it has now become an essential addon.

Might not be using it to it's full potential, but man oh man it is still a huge (as in massively gargantuan) improvement over not having TrackIr even with one monitor.
I doubt FSX would of kept my interest without TrackIr.
