These were taken around on Pound road.....good spot when its easterly. Park anywhere along there away from the high fence.
I noticed yesterday they were using all the runways.....bit hard to keep up.

Cheers

Maybe the Gulfstream bought Metallica, they're playing in CHCH this week. Expect they'll be an Atlas Air 74 freighter accompanying them with the concert gear too!

From MRC: Rock group "Metallica" touched down at Christchurch this afternoon from Sydney on board Gulfstream 550 N55AL for two concerts in the Garden City before heading to their next venue, Japan, later in the week. The group's gear arrived via a Singapore Airlines Cargo 747-400 freighter over the weekend.

Nice find Trolly. Such a shame there's not a decent Gulfstream available, love the look of them

Gulfstream won't allow any payware addon models....anybody whom attempts one would expect a cease and desist letter from Gulfstream's lawyers.

I knew they should have that old Bristol Freighter up and flying , "Metallica" is all they would have heard and the rumble off the Herc,s not the Grumble of Gulfstream's lawyers tongue.gif

Got a pic of the other Gulfstream , but cant upload at the moment..... angry.gif A flatmate decided to borrow! my lancard and in the process shorted out my computer........been in surgery now for 2 days, and hopefully its going to pull through........its going to an expensive week for that guy......bloody hell.
In the mean time Im using a spare Macbook.....never been able to get my head around macs or laptops of any type.....but...i have to say, the mac graphics are great, even some of my not so hot pics look great.
Anyway, once Im up and desk topping again, I'll post the metallica gulfstream pic.

Cheers team
