Just thought I'd put up a few shots for your perusal:

Shadow , my first ever model aircraft was the F86 smile.gif My father fought in the Korean War and many times stopped in K13 'Kimpo' just outside Seoul .. must have been 8 or 9 - i swapped against this brilliant Bristol Britannia in B.O.A.C markings built by my Dad .. come to think what did happen to my little Sabre ? unsure.gif

Ian,
I've always thought that the F-86 Sabre was one of the most beautiful and perfectly designed fighter aircraft ever built.

In terms of the Korean War, the Sabre was the right aircraft at the right time - much the same as the Spitfire was for the Battle of Britain.

Splitpin, weren't you asking who made the best F-86 for FS9 or FSX? That one is the SectionF8 model.
