Very sad news, I think I only saw that flying a week or so ago, dunno if it was the same pilot flying it, but very sad to here he died.

I always feel especially sad when a Microlight/Flexwing Pilot, and/or passenger, fails to survive a crash.

They belong to a very friendly group of aviators who have little money to spend on the sport, but really enjoy the experience of low-cost flying with their friends.

Very sad.

You only need bitta training to fly a hang glider based trike , in saying that it only takes a little mistake and even the winds aloft , Rick my brother flys a hanger and had many near ... Allandale , a well known ridge on the CHCH port hills (Bank Peninsular) Mid 1980 s , A New Zealander considered the worlds H/glider best perished - simply the wind caught him .

Richard went out and brought himself a chute for himself after that .
