Nothing wrong in snapping more photos at Auckland. One thing that I have learnt is that if you wait until tomorrow, it can be too late. Wonder how long the AirNZ 747s will be around so it is good to get the photos now whilst there is still a chance. And probably more interesting than the soccer!

Tomorrow who knows? Take the photos today,

smooth landings.

Was wtaching the soccer most of the time..its my oldests (9 year olds) soccer team ..I'm the team manager. The first time I have seen a A380 and then another flew over the day after just a few minutes after an Emirates 777 flew over ...Emirates must have a lot of capacity across the Tasman!

Cool snaps Paul, thanks for sharing.

From what I've heard, Emirates main reason for bringing their heavy metal over from Sydney is because its cheaper to operate them to Auckland and back than have them sitting on the tarmac at YSSY. Pretty sure they just load the A380 up with cargo rather than rely on filling it with pax, those things have a massive payload!
