WOW. I saw the first shot and thought what a great angle, slightly unusual but great with the top down view and the aircraft diagonal. Then I saw the third shot, WOW. Stunning lighting on it, and again a real photo quality shot. The third shot must go in a screenshot hall of fame.

Now I am envious!!

HT and Adam....you flatter me...thank you, but a good screen is nothing without a good subject. There are some addons i wouldn't even bother with....and then are others that demand much more than i can offer them.
I just do screens of what i like....Ive never been a big scenery person (mainly because of my limited system)....i like to show the aircraft at its best...flying....and the enviroment it uses...the sky ....so if that limits me, then so be it.

So far i seem to be doing it right.....Im not competing with anyone....i do what i do , the way i do it...and i share it.
All your comments are icing on the cake for me....thankyou . But , as Ive said before, Im in the company of some very clever people

rather than the 'icing on the cake' perhaps the phrase for these screenshots (especially the last one) should be 'creme de la creme'.

If there is a screenshot competition for the best of the best, then the third shot must be entered. It gets my vote!!!

Great shots Splitpin.
The P-36 isn't what I'd call the P-40's granddad - more like it's older brother. The P-36's relationship to the P-40 is akin the the F/A-18A Hornet's relationship to the F/A-18E SuperHornet - an evolution of design.
