Lucky i had the old cybershot in the car this morning... smile.gif ..bit fuzzy sorry.
Not sure what they were doing, but they overnighted the aircraft at Wiggers.

Nice Helicopter , cant say ive seen one with a maverick yet .. oh except my Alphasim model .

Same here Ian.....the Mavrick would almost be as big as the chopper....the old sprite is not really that big, but they have a major set of rotors....big thick things

Strangely enough one of these flew over Mayfield (about 50km out of Ahsburton) on Sunday (I think it was), looked like it was coming from Mt Hutt and heading south. Possibly mountain training or something? Seems out of place for a navy bird though.

Yeah I usally see them low level out in the Hauraki Gulf just north of Waiheke toying around with the Navy boats.

Sweet pics, they seem to be quite photogenic machines.
