I said it once before that the FS community has a tendency to implode from time to time. Sad, but true. I don't know what it is about the genre that attracts a few that are hell bent on disrupting things every now again, however the MO is always the same - hide behind internet anonymity and drive wedges. Thats one reason I like to meet up with fellow simmers whenever I can, and fly Vatsim where you use your real name.

Anyhow, I like your shots Marty, keep them coming, we don't have a limit of screenshots that can be posted, the more the merrier!

W-H-A-T???? And no guts to go public???? Hmmmm. Definitely weird goings on in the community at the moment.

The great thing is that it's totally counter-productive (for that person) as you're now going to be deluged with requests for MORE MORE MORE!!! clapping.gif

So ... I say to that person (aka T-R-O-L-L) ...

Challenge!!! ... put your money where your mouth is and LET'S SEE YOURS! (screenies, I mean laugh.gif).

Adam....you got it 100% right, now i can bring all my old FS9 A/S babies over to FSX for 'screening"....and their(screens) not better than yours....i think i just have a little more time to spend on them, thats all.And by the way, i didnt know your hair was purple under that helmet....and your shorter than i imagined tongue.gif

MAT: Thanks for the comment, it would be nice to meet some of the members....do "we" ever get together in the flesh? other than at the airshows.

SEAN: Thanks as well....you keep posting too thumbup1.gif

Re the email, Im looking into the origin....Im pretty sure its from another forum i posted some screens on (wont be going back)...Ive dealt with bigger and uglier things than this, and found the best response is ...Attack...hard to do sometimes. I just get pissed off when someone feels the need to attack a non profit... hobby basically....however, Im not going away unless it starts to have an impact on the forum as a whole. The other part of the mail related to my earlier "stumpys" and the use of copyright photo's ...quote"Im sure the owners of the original photos will consider legal action(once advised) on seeing your wholesale hacking of professional work"I have written permission to use all those photo's and gave credit to the owners where possible....and in one case the owner asked for one to done. I'll beg and borrow if i have to , but i wont steal angry.gif
Ok, I dont know whats going on or why, but Im not saying anymore about it....but if i find out who it is, I WILL name them on this forum....jeeez, now i am getting angry, and i wasnt when i started writting this. So whoever you are....crawl back under your rock , you sick little ****

Thanks Team

Marty

Outstanding!!! Your s'shots are consistently and seriously good!! And always look so sharp. You might consider passing along a few tips winkyy.gif ..... These particular a/c are amongst my favourites so big ups thumbup1.gif

And on the topic of tips - just what was that "little line" - I have the same issue. Sorry if I've missed something - I've been away for a few days.

Keep them coming Marty

Dart thanks for the comment.......re the line, this is what Adam sent me:

Tweak the panel.cfg for each aircraft to get the right window size:

[Window00]
file=Main panel_640.BMP
file_1024=Main panel_1024.bmp
size_mm=1024,768
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=7
visible=1
ident=MAIN_PANEL
sizeable=1
render_3d_window=1
window_size= 1.000, 1.000
window_pos= 0.000, 0.000
view_window_rect=0,0,8192,6143
and ....

[Default View]
X=0
Y=0
SIZE_X=8191
SIZE_Y=6143

The txt in bold is the line i added....and it worked smile.gif . About the tips..... blush.gif you flatter me, i think it could be a group thing with input from the forum, there are some real clever people in this place....but Im happy to help anyone who thinks they need it.

Cheers

Marty

Obviously the person complaining keeps grabbing the wrong joystick. If he grabbed the one on the desk then he could take some screenies.

Keep em coming clapping.gif
