707, 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777

Amid all the 787 roll-out hoopla, perhaps the coolest event went unnoticed. On Saturday night, Boeing had all of the 787 airline representatives at an event at the Museum of Flight. At 7:07 PM, an Omega Air Refueling Services 707 landed in front of the crowd (after taking off from Paine Field in Everrett). At 7:17, an AirTran 717 landed. This continued until 8:17 when an Air France 777-300ER landed. In the end, the 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777 were lined up nose-to-tail on the taxiway. It is the first time Boeing has had every 7-series aeroplane in the same place (not counting the 787, which couldn't make the flight, of course). - Picture provided by The Boeing Company

Not to be a killjoy or anything but in case anyone is wondering this was actually an event from back in 2007, and not this Saturday gone, which would explain why the 787 wasn't there coz there are certainly enough flyable 787s about at Paine at the moment to have one in the formation. Look above the 747 , displayed is a DC-3 , William Boeing s private plane ? yes Bill did buy his direct counterparts aircraft as his personal transport after leaving his company , and look beside it the B-47 Stratojet , you look directly above the 727 and 717 (MD95) Boeing company have a Concorde .

Boeing 717 (MD95) Not quite the true aircraft , the Boeing 717 was designation for the 720/C135/KC135 model , a shortened 707 with also a changed wing platform .

Great shot. I've been lucky enough to have flown on each of the types except the the first two. I just missed on flying on the 717 recently when in Oz and I don't think I have any chance of flying in a 707 to complete the list, but who knows.

When I was there in January they had a Harrier and Mig 15 parked where that DC3 is sitting... oh and the funky, radar testbed 757 over where the big-ugly is.
