Cadillac of the Skies I have been looking for a good North American P-51 Mustang , some may say they are a to polished - these being current airshow display
types , this shown by the pilot using modern bonedome - externally the model is brilliant along with the office .

Now that's what I call SHINY!!!! Does this one require Acceleration? The site doesn't mention it.

I'm always in two minds about the Mustang. First love has to be the Spit, so it feels like I'm dating the [2nd fiddle] sister! I've seen the Thunder Mustang a few times and it left me cold. Even the full size versions I've seen at shows in the UK left me remarkably unmoved. I have to be honest, I suppose ... I just don't like them rolleyes.gif.

Give me a good, throaty, old P-40 any day! Or even a Corsair (which I'm on record here on NZFF for calling "ugly"). Both of these send a shiver up my spine. The Mustang, however, only succeeds in opening up the sandwich box! @Marty ... helicopters do the same (but we won't go there, will we now eh? laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif).

@Ian ... is the the same as the new A2A Accusim P-51?

I think it would work fine without Acceleration , "only succeeds in opening up the sandwich box!" tongue.gif you would say that if you see them display regular , ... ... "is the the same as the new A2A Accusim P-51?" that one is not released yet , but YES will give you Adam a full run down on it when released , but look out for your beloved Spitty before that is released .

Hi Ian, I have the older P-51b/c warbird sim release. If you also have this, how does the new mustang compare? Have they developed it more than the older version? was just curious. Better than the A2A Mustang? I always end up going back to that one.

In the late 1940 there is a story were a P-51 was attended a US Navy airshow , on the side off the Mustang was this logo ' Join the USAF' or something to that
affect . As both aircraft preparing there display lining up runway for there singleton display the Mustang rolled first , obviously the Navy went to prove a point
not long after the 51 the Bearcat applied throttle , in the writing it gos on to say the F8 caught the 51 and barrel rolled around it even before the Mustang had
put gear away .

So with me in my new P-51 and Kade with his Bearcat i thought we will try this out in a multiplay , the story above could possibly be true , that F8 had some
real get up and go , lotta fun trying different weights throttle settings , had the war continued the bad guys would have been in trouble ! .

One thing Kade pointed out was the share size , it was shorter by 4 ft and higher than 1 ft

Our diving competitions were a little dangerous

We didn't hit the water because we thought 5000 feet would be enough time for them to pull out from a dive from 20000 feet, of course we didn't rolleyes.gif

My first love would also be the Spitfire..then the P-40 and then the Mustang. Corsair is up there too with the Seafury and Yak-3

It so hard to say Paul , they are as good as each other , you mention the Spitfire , have you seen the A2A update for the early model Sippy ?
