Seeing all the threads around the C-5 reminded me of a recent trip out of Frankfurt to get a motor mended in Toulouse...
I was struck by the co-incidence of all the heavy lifters I saw that day.

Of course, what I should've had was the newest lifter...POSKY's brilliant B748F.
Fabulous new wing, scalloped engine exhausts...this one carries forward all the benefit of 747 experience, and adds the hard-won 787 jazz.
