I sudo paint would suit the L-39 as a Strikemaster , it might get you into some multiplays there Paul winkyy.gif

yes I would be keen!

Go for it, Paul. I think that camo paint scheme looks great on the Blunty. Having just watched the L-39 at Ardmore (it's an amazing little aircraft!) an "RNZAF" version would be a treat!

Thanks! Maybe best move this to that thread, if you set your tutorial up. Is TS3 client free?

Hi, I would like to have a fairly basic repaint of a Carenado PA28-181 archer II for fsx done, Can anyone help me? I can supply as many pictures as you would like. Please PM me if you are interested.

Just wondering if anyone has considered any New Zealand options for the FSX payware Cera Simulations Bell 212?

Or even a lookalike RNZAF Iroquois livery? smile.gif

Here's a nice simple request for one of our fine re-painters...

Wolfgang Piper's LS-4, in the colours of ZK-GKM - my former "office" - available here
Somewhere I have a pile of pics on 35mm, but they're M.I.A at the moment unsure.gif but I have these 2 recent pics, courtesy of Dave Jensen.

Ooooh ... nice pics!!! There's not really *that* much there to repaint, Shirley? I'm sure Ian could do it in 15 mins if only he had a PC laugh.gif laugh.gif

Nope, just the pink rego, LS-4 blades below the canopy lip and the TGC decals behind the trailing edge smile.gif
After nearly 15yrs of tooling around with FS, the ability to repaint still escapes me...

You can see in the first pic that whoever was flying her that day, forgot to lock the gear in the down position... No damage done, so I'm told... just a real worm burner

Do you have any close-ups of the decals and ""LS-4"? Which glider/whose model is it?

Link to the zip in the first post - Wolfgang Piper's model, about 2mb file smile.gif

Thats the closest pic I've got of the LS-4 markings,

And that's the closest I've got of the decal, same for tugs and gliders.

Hmmm ... we may need a better reference for that decal. I looked at the Aero Club site, but it looks like they're using a newer logo now.

How's this?

I need to replace the tailplane font ... is the colour about right though? This is the FS2004 model in my FSX, so transparency may look a bit odd. I see there's an FSX version of the original repaint, so I'll try that one too.

Any wing/winglet markings at all?

Ahhh, looking good mate! Drop the rego down closer to the base of the tail and make the colour more pink:

It's very close to the top-right in this pic^^
I reckon leave the winglets white - KM was never optioned with them smile.gif

Added updated pic below the original. Drop the rego a bit more still? Also, the decal looks a shade too big to me <?>.

Is the model itself accurate? The wing root seems way too high!

Getting closer now smile.gif
Rego still needs to be a little lower... But the colour is good! Perhaps shrink the logo a little more?

The model is reasonably accurate - get those LS-4 blades pink and she'll be spot on clapping.gif
