Hi all- As you may be aware, the Vector Land Class patch has now been released to existing customers and new purchases from this point will already be patched. If you are an existing customer you should have received a notification prompting you to visit the Godzone store to access your patch.

See here for instructions on how to access your patch (only applicable for customers who purchased VLC before 20th December 2010. Sales after this date are pre-patched to V1.01)

See the VLC website for full details about what the patch fixed by clicking here

The next step is to package up and release a series of airports to fit VLC- Some of these are very basic and some are a bit more advanced but we will announce more on this in the near future /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yes, I've seen some brave souls login and download via dial-up, I hope it goes ok.

The VLC patch rollout represents the biggest bandwidth usage on my site ever, as normally when a new product is released the initial rush of orders are spread over a few days. Thankfully things seem to be going smoothly!

What about if I won my copy via NZFF?

Do I get access to the update? I can't see a link anywhere to actually download it

At the moment the download is only available to those who have a completed VLC order in the Godzone Store. Anyone else (and I can only think of a handful) will receive the update later, so please be patient.

I could probably give you enough downloads to do this, but it would need some planning. As Mat pointed out, once you reach 5 download attempts it stops working...
Contact me with your order number and I'll reset the download, and we'll figure something out.

However you will need to delete the incomplete download, clear your cache, and start over, as the current download no longer exists -- the bit of URL you've obscured is a temporary redirect, created for each download, and is removed once the download attempts are exceeded.

The download will still be ready -- have a look.
There are a few reasons why you wouldn't receive notification -- this only went out to those who agreed to receive emails from my store (that's a legal requirement), and of those I had about a dozen bouncebacks.
I did mean to mention this to Tim, but things got a bit busy.

So if you have ordered Vector Land Class from the Godzone Store, the update will be available.

Same as the reply above -- if you chose not to receive emails from the Godzone Store when you signed up then you won't receive an email notification. However the download will still be ready to go in your account, you just need to follow the instructions here:
