Hmm, Rotorua once again voted the best NZ holiday destination... combined with a couple of $2 grabaseat flights, it might be one option for me this year!

If money was no object and I could actually afford a lovely wee aircraft like this Tecnam Sierra ZK-NPS then a NZ holiday for me would be packing a few things and the missus into the aircraft and be heading off on a trip around the NZ coastline for a week or so. This could be anywhere in NZ really but its actually looking out over Slipper Island Island and I think Mayor Is off the coast of Pauanui on the Corromandel East coast:

Flew the standard FSX Beaver into the high country behind Queenstown, This is a little lake allowing a view of the 'back' or Western side of Mt Aspiring. Camp om the lake shore (stony so bring padding!) and then day excursions into the surrounding high peaks . . .

Conner, I had already decided to use the float plane with a sandy beach type shot but after seeing your one thought that maybe I should try a different location so they don't look too similar.

Scaber and deeknow, great screens thumbup1.gif thumbup1.gif I can imagine the sound of that old DH hauling out of those valleys, i think the tecnam would be more "greenie" friendly.......and would look good on floats as well.

My son took this screenshot as he liked some of the other entries and wanted to have a go.
Marlborough sounds again, just finished the BBQ and relaxing with a cold drink and watching the sun go down.

If you haven't got your entry in for this competition you only have one day left to get one in.
So come on get your A into G and get one in the prize is well worth having a shot at.
