HamiltonX - PART 1

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

Part One of a Three part series - Mainly because I pressed the V-Key so many bloody times I couldn't fit them all in one topic!! biggrin.gif

Part 1 is of the new beautiful Cresco going on a test flight from Pacific Aerospace manufacturing center at Hamilton airport, up to Huntly and back again.

Heres why I just love this new scenery;
-TEXTURES, incredible, I reckon the runway textures are 10x more sharper, crisper, clearer than the ORBX Brisbane new 7cm airport, and it comes without the huge FPS hit!
-CLUTTER, I love seeing all the custom modeled cars and airport vehicles, the burning drum, cows, tractors, hay bales...all the little things that make it so much more realistic.
-CUSTOM MODELS, All the major buildings in the area are modelled like in the CBD, Fonterra factory, Mystery Creek events centre, Huntly Power Station...etc etc....they're everywhere
-AUTOGEN! Awesome , I love cranking up the autogen, wasn't dissapointed!
-INTERIOR terminal and Control tower modeled, now with the invention of BOB (coming up in Part 2 and 3) its really interesting walking around inside, and especially with terminals with large windows like Hamilton.

Oh right and heres the photos:

15.Fonterra Factory

16.The Mighty Waikato River winds its way past a range, iconic Huntly power station can be seen in the distance

20.Back in Hamilton CBD

21.Lining up 18L

22.Going around...dont really mind, I can just look at more scenery

23.Back again for a steep descend

Nice stuff...

Gonna have to secure a copy once the Xmas credit card deficit improves.

Only one discrepancy I can see off hand is the old Stacks of the Huntly Power Station, they had a revamp not too long ago....... winkyy.gif

Nice screens thumbup1.gif . Hamilton and the Cresco go together well, given that Hamilton being the home of PAC!
