Does VLC effect other countries?

As in the title; does the VLC add-on change how the other countries on FSX look, or just NZ? I'm aware that the autogen needs to be disabled before international flying (native trees etc), but I'm referring to the actual ground textures. On that note; can I leave VLC fully enabled whilst flying internationally, or will some places look worst with it turned on? OR will it have no effect whatsoever?

Apart from the autogen texture as mentioned, no it does not

It is by this way by design as a antithesis to some addons which do their best to mess with your FSX install which can have un-intended consequences
