That was at the Duxford air show (not too sure of the year), he lost engine power on a fly over, only option was to put her down at that moment. He done fricken well to pull her out of the world of hurt he was heading for though.

Cheers Pete , that would explain it , in the early nineties they painted up the Taffy Mustang in Tiger scheme for a beer advert - doing cycle around Wigram , on land a couple time it was coughing spluttering similar to the sound track in the Utube .

Thanks for that info, makes scense, it sure was spluttering abit and did'nt sound like it was firing on all cylinders either. Agreed that the outcome could have been alot worse.
