I can use that picture to keep myself warm. The last few mornings have been -8 with a high during the day of 5. Beautiful sun and bugger all wind tho. Today was somewhat of a heat wave and it was 2 degrees this morning and warmed to a tropical 12 degrees.

I have my fingers crossed that there will be an early summer.

It was 29 degrees inside my house last night

My C172 outside air temperature sensor was reading 38 degrees yesterday whilst sitting on the tarmac at Ardmore.

I'd just spent 10 minutes pre flighting and filling it up with gas, and was cooking- most unpleasant inside the cockpit until I got the big fan at the front going

Those Cockpits really are glass houses , mind you , you would,t want to be anywhere else would ya , sitting on the grass 29 NZCH , Piper 140 with its door open , it'll be good for a not planned weight loss program .

No wind and constant 25-28 degrees in Wellington...Something is seriously wrong with the world......

Piper Cherokee's are the worst, no wing to give you any shade, and only one door. Still, like you say, best place to be .

Then you stay inside and cool.....if you loose any more weight you'll blow away.......
