Hi All,
This will be my first time "wanting" to go to this airshow .

Can anyone give me ideas of what is the cheapest way to go there and sort out accommodation? I already looked and found out there is a train from melbourne to the airport and shuttle from there to the air show. But Haven't been to Melbourne before so not sure whats good accommodation there?

If you are going to the airshow can you share some details and ways with me please?

Thanks
Ben

All accommodation get snapped up prity quick , most itime stayed in Geelong ' Moolap ' camping grounds , good 40 minute drive to the show 5.30/6.00 in the morn . not much help , one off these shows require planning year or in advance .

bennz,

I'm staying in Melbourne (doing the tourist thing) and catching the train from Southern Cross station to Lara (shuttle bus to Avalon airport). V/Line have a dedicated page for the airshow which is how I booked my train tickets, just need to pick them up when I arrive: http://www.vline.com.au/discover/regionalv...lonairshow.html
