Air Tractor (Brian Gladden's 802 model) approaches north Hamilton suburbs at day-break ready for a spray run during the 2003 campaign against the painted apple moth. You'll see Te Rapa race-course below and the Mormon temple lit up in the distance courtesy of Mikes HamiltonX scenery

Jeez I don't know about that,..the Air Truks pretty damn ugly !!! (sorry Marty biggrin.gif ), the PLZ at least looks like it was designed that ugly, not like its blueprints were torn into peices , sticky taped back together in random order then sent to the builders ! laugh.gif

Thanx Marty. I actually lived in the part of Hamilton that got sprayed in 2003 and was pretty much on the flightline of that screenie above. Sadly if I think Ag plane I usually am reminded of that unpopular city spraying exercise, and of being woken by the sound of the air tractor buzzing the neighbourhood each morning.

I was in the Auckland spray path on both occasions East then West - first one was a DC-6. It was great hearing that thing roar over our heads a zero feet - second time was an Air Tractor and a F-27 - not as good as the DC-6 but great seeing a F-27 down low.
