I heard a rumour that the Mozzie wont make it to the show because of delays in making the fuel tanks.....can this be confirmed? I can live without seeing an Anson, but the Moz sad.gif
What about the fw-190?......With ANZAC day also over the Easter break this year, it should be a special show....

It would be a pity. The last photos I saw of it made it look like it might make it. Ive waited 15 years to see a mossie fly again, looks like I might have to wait a little bit longer. From what Ive heard the FW190 will be there.

99% likely that the Mosquito won't be there. I haven't heard of any other cancellations though, it should still be a really good show regardless.

Im going anyway....last time was just magic....closest accommodation seems to be Wellington at the moment.
Last time i slept in a tent at a backpackers in Renwick...great place, but Jeezzz...a tent, cold and damp, and i had a german dude tenting next door...who must have been too a cabbage fest somewhere.....popping away all bloody night.. dry.gif ...and a young couple on the other side obviously trying to start a family ........try sleeping with ear defenders and a gas mask blink.gif....in a tent, frezzing........i really hope those young folks on the other side of the gas machine , got a child....they worked so hard at it.
Strange , i dont remember that much about the airshow huh.gif

I have an offer of accomodation from my wifes on-line (and never met) friend in the Wairau Valley (30 minutes drive) cool.gif

Being in the middle of school holidays, we are all going for a week. Bluebridge tickets in hand... off we go clapping.gif
I'm packing my rc tricopter and camera kit so I can shoot their farm and give them a panoramic canvas as a thankyou.

What would really please me is if I can get an airside media pass for Friday... and I'm working on that...

ROLL ON EASTER plane.gif

We should organise a NZFF meeting point on the Saturday and/or Sunday to put faces to names and maybe even get a group pic of members who attend. Something like meet outside the main hangar at midday - and if you have your finger in your ear and hop on one foot, then we will recognize you as one of us !!
