Better late than never - My images from the final launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery a few weeks ago- We watched from a causeway south of launch pad 39a about 25km away. So stoked to be able to be there.....

Got the beers!

Here we go!

Traffic trying to get out afterwards- Traffic was baaaad. The launch was one of the most watched since the original shuttle launches

Luckily we had these guys!

Im jealous...I will probably wil never see a Shuttle launch ..actually make that never will unless I win Lotto in the next few weeks. Quite a different view from those pics - looks like its been launched out of the water..and man that traffic!

Wow look at all those cars! laugh.gif
Thanks for the pics. This is as close as I will get to a launch as well. I wish very much I was there. Humans being shot into space is something truly incredible really. I mean we were still earth bound not that long ago. It would be great to see. Congrats on making it there.
