Old METARS?

Does anyone know if old achived METARs or SPECIs can be found online anywhere?

In particular, I'd be interested to find one from between 6pm and 7pm last night at NZAA, to see if there was any mention of the funnel cloud overhead the city at that time.

If the local Met office saw/recorded it on weather radar, they'd have issued some level of warning to be spread by the various media.

Type in NZAA, I think you can look at previous Metar for up to 24hours ago.

Thanks guys- I checked them last night but there were no sign of the infamous 'FC' to be seen. Must have been on a separate SPECI.

Checked with the Mrs who is an aviation met expert and it should have been included in the main body of the metar only if it was within 8km of the airfield and should have been added to the remarks if it was within 16km.
Of course all that assumes that somebody actually saw it and all the controllers would normally be facing the other way.

It would have been issued as a SIGMET.
