Just wanted to thank everybody who voted for my shot in last months comp....sorry for the delay in doing this.
I downloaded the Vertigo Panther...which included the extra paints, this afternoon.....so look for some screens later.

Big thanks to Doug for arranging the prize, and Vertigo Studios for offering it , and to Dean and Bruce for their help....also Ian for your input in making my choice thumbup1.gif and to who ever it was that tipped the balance by 1 vote (it wasnt me tongue.gif )

I still think there were far better shots....great to be in such talented company.....cheers and thanks guys thumbup1.gif

No, the people have spoken and the people have voted!! Yours was the best. Well done.

Now you have to follow it up by winning another competition.

Thanks also to the sponsors, good that several companies continue to support NZFF. I hope that we can support them in return.

smooth landings.

I'm a sucker for these competitions even without the prizes, but I must say some of these sponsored prizes are brilliant. Thanks not only to the individual sponsors, but also to the behind-the-scenes person [Doug??] that sets them up thumbup1.gif

Marty - that shot deserves its prize - even without your vote! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif. Looking forward to a flood of Panther pics!

Thanks for the kind words team....Im a real sucker for these 50's jets from both sides of the Atlantic....this one (Panther) is a honey. Awesome sound package and some great paint.
Now Im seriously thinking about the end of the scale, and getting the Carenado Baron....looks sweet, and will be good company for other twins in my hanger.....but in the meantime I'll Panther on.

Thanks Vertigo thumbup1.gif

It's a personal thing, but these modern BIZ jets just leave me cold. Even in Real Life, they appear to have w-a-*-k-e-r written all over them (if you'll forgive the french). I suppose it's because I'm more of a Morris Minor type of a guy! Or maybe it's that I'm simply too *old* laugh.gif

Give me a cold war jet or a Harvard any time!!!

Baron...biz jet..modern? They date back to the 60s and piston powered and are considered classics (and I miss my Dreamfleet Baron..might consider the Carenado Baron myself)

Marty might be referring to the [just released] Carenado B58 Baron, which looks "fairly" modern. For some reason I thought he may have been meaning the RealAir Duke *Turbo* ... which looks way newer!

Me? I hate them both laugh.gif ...gimme a Cresco any day! I may even consider an Air***k if I was going to make a fashion statement! laugh.gif

You definately picked an awsome jet, the panther is very well modeled and that jet exhaust effect is awsome. well done.
