Here are a few photos taken recently.
We plan to take some more photos of the GP-4 next weekend so will post some more at some stage but quite a contrast in aeroplanes dont you think?

Great shots Gavin , I recall the Auckland police trialling the Wilga for traffic/crime spotting mid/late 90s , around the same period of the midair crash ? .

Ditto Ian's comment above, wondered why it wasn't registered PZL? then noticed that the NZ fleet of 3 does occupy PZL, PZM, and PZN!
Who makes a GP-4? looks like a kit, and the fin reminds me of which pre-WWII aircraft? Mmm...

Can I ask, who is that flying the wilga ? looks like Barry. Does it still belong to steve or has it gone to someone else ?

Used to see that Wilga in Nelson alot, only saw it fly once though :( Very smoky too.

That GP-4 was a sweet looking machine.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

That wilga looks in ALOT better condition than the last one i saw lol.
