I blame it completely on this forum winkyy.gif I've been doing a bit of flying around NZ

Climbing out of Auckland, heading for NZQN

Overhead Farewell Spit, FL 380

Looking across towards Nelson and Marlborough Sounds

On the western side of the SI

The amazing Southern Alps

Arriving into ZQN (light VIP flight)

Departing Hokitika for Milford Sound

A river (no idea which)

Descending for the milford sound entrance

It's probably lined with trees in real life, but I understand the limitations of FS

Safely down

I also took a bunch of screenshots with the Section 8 F86 Sabre, but only after I restarted my computer did I realise that my screenshot program must not have been open *blush
Very happy to have that and the HS748 installed in FSX now. Starting to have fewer and fewer reasons to use FS9 winkyy.gif Just need the ifly 737 or maybe the PMDG NGx and make the switch!
We will see..

AL....What a set (of screens)...ALL those 75 shots are magic thumbup1.gif thumbup1.gif Please dont take this bit as anything other than an observation....i dont think the old 748 cuts it anymore in FSX....its looks great in FS9 (thats where I'll fly it) but.....i dont know....but your screens are great thumbup1.gif

I have lots of reasons to keep on with FS9....Faster loading, better frame rates, lots of FS9 only classic aircraft......mind you, thats just me and my system....but Ive invested thousands over the years on FS9....and i want my moneys worth....only thing is ...no VLC....so i fly in both, just depends what i want to do.

Again....great shots...that 75 is sweet thumbup1.gif thumbup1.gif

Thanks guys.
I agree with you that the 748 is a little dated on FSX compared with other things out there, but it's so sweet to fly I think I'll keep her all the same. I get the same FPS in FS9 as I do in X now. Lucky me I guess! FPS has an awful microstutter going on, FSX is smooth.

And no Ian, I really don't know what that river is lol Sure is isolated though.

I've fixed my VLC now so expect some more sometime showing VLC as it's meant to be. These look pretty yuck now in comparison. I should really delete this thread as it does VLC no favours.
Cheers!

Al - I love those 757 shots! I think I prefer the QW version to my previously beloved Captain Sim one. Not sure whether I like all that *shine* though!
