umm, yes and no. 2009 at NZOH was crazy with the macchis screaming round, the mix of high speed jets and small props doesn't work well, plus the choppers added some complexity. NZCH has more traffic throughout the entire day, so on paper it is busier, But Ohakea use to explode with every man and his dog running to an airframe....that doesn't seem to happen here at NZCH as much. That being said 2010 slowed down big time at NZOH, student numbers went down quite abit, I think NZOH will slow down even more this year due to tiny pilot courses......but ya never know.

The macchis stopped in Dec 2009. They were still carrying out engine runs on the macchis from time to time when I left NZOH......so you never know. Venom.....not sure, that photo was taken about 10 minutes before it flew out to hood that day, I'm not sure how bad the damage was. Fingers crossedLast edited by ZK-TJL on Tue Apr 05, 2011 1:10 pm, edited 1 time in total.
