Well there were some drinks, but I'm pretty sure that was to calm our nerves after this incident. - of course, I could be wrong . . .connor wrote:QUOTE (connor @ Apr 16 2011,7:00 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I really hope the Accusim P-51D will be as good as the spit. I don't have the spit, i wouldn't fly it enough, but the P-51. . .
I'm sure it will be Conner, but one thing; that P51 has a particularly viscous spin - I would expect that to be a real problem for the casual pilot with Accusim activated! I've had some interesting moments in the WOP2 version (but I can recommend it and would expect the WPO3 version to be even better)![]()

Ha ha, this isn't even the same plane or location - I'm most pleased to be able to say a definite 'No' to that accusation!! - at least this time, though I'll probably be guilty next time so keep checking on me...

Awesome screen!
But as for keeping it in the air, what you can't see is that he has actually over heated and blown the Merlin up. The screen was taken as he was hurtling towards the cook straight.![]()
The aerosoft catalina tends to overheat a bit. I haven't blown it up yet, but I've got pretty close on a number of occasions!Last edited by connor on Sun Apr 17, 2011 3:08 pm, edited 1 time in total.
