Is your spit still playing up Ian? I remember it was doing that when i last did a multiplayer and I buzzed Omaka in the Herc.

That's what happens when you fly low to check what's happened to Ian and are too busy looking at his plane to notice that slight rise in the ground height. sad.gif

Here is is from the surviving pilots point of view afer a passing Press Photographer recorded the sad event. At least both pilots survived to fight again another day . . .

I really hope the Accusim P-51D will be as good as the spit. I don't have the spit, i wouldn't fly it enough, but the P-51. . .

Well there were some drinks, but I'm pretty sure that was to calm our nerves after this incident. - of course, I could be wrong . . .

I'm sure it will be Conner, but one thing; that P51 has a particularly viscous spin - I would expect that to be a real problem for the casual pilot with Accusim activated! I've had some interesting moments in the WOP2 version (but I can recommend it and would expect the WPO3 version to be even better) rolleyes.gif

Ok Kade (and the rest of you doubters - you listening there Doug!) just to show that I can occasionally keep the spit up in the air ...

laugh.gif Ha ha, this isn't even the same plane or location - I'm most pleased to be able to say a definite 'No' to that accusation!! - at least this time, though I'll probably be guilty next time so keep checking on me...

OK ..enough is enough , both Greg and myself are from Christchurch , after arriving at the airport you head home or search for suitable quarters you drive past a Spitfire at the gate on a pintle , or my saying a Spitfire on a stick .. with the earthquakes of recent we were in fear off loosing this iconic icon so we put a plan in to try and land on a stick rolleyes.gif yes this is true .. there is not much landing room hence the series off accidents tongue.gif

Awesome screen!

But as for keeping it in the air, what you can't see is that he has actually over heated and blown the Merlin up. The screen was taken as he was hurtling towards the cook straight. tongue.gif

The aerosoft catalina tends to overheat a bit. I haven't blown it up yet, but I've got pretty close on a number of occasions!
