Omaka Heli's

Classic Fighter's was brilliant this year, although a little wet.
I took some (many) photos over the weekend, but it was very challenging getting the shots sharp when shooting at 1/200th of a second (and for most of the heli's 1/100th of a second) at the equivalent of 500mm.
Anyway, over the next couple of days I will share some of my photos with you all, but only a few at a time, to keep the bandwidth pressure down. winkyy.gif

First I thought I would start with the whirlybirds.

These are n no particular order either.

First off, the Air force UH-1H dropping troops.

A Navy Seasprite.

The Lifeflight BK-117.

More UH-1H.

Seasprite on the ground.

The BK-117 crew playing around.

And last but not least, my personal favorite, the UH-1H, again!

Thanks for looking, and keep your eyes peeled, there is more where that came from!

Some nice creative framing - I've never been to Omaka but am totally familiar with those hills behind the #5 Seasprite!
Last one also - great Iroquois action.

connor, is that first huey shot cropped? if you have wider view that includes the two guys just to the left of frame it would be awesome!
