With all these new airports (and my Bonanza needs some air time) I felt a need to do a tour around NZ in FSX ...not as flash as Charls FS9 tour

1st leg NZTG to NZHN

Not a contest! Be very interesting to see NZ from the FSX perspective, pity we don't have an X-plane fanatic to hand...
Also happens to be a great looking plane, your #3 may as well be a photo.

Finally taken another leg..Hamilton to Kaipara Flats...didnt take the Bonanza as I didnt want to dirty the undersides on the grass strip...interesting flight with a bit everything in it

Love the details in Mike's scenery...and its such a large area

Hamilton City

Te Rapa Dairy factory

Huntly Power Station

The lake (not sure of name?) just north of Huntly...didn't realise it was this large

Heading into VLC scenery now (I don't have Super City)

passing Auckland International

Auckland City..big problem with the default Aucland CBD is that theres no Harbour Bridge..not in coat hangar form anyway!

VLC is amazingly accurate...even includes the Sewage ponds on the North Shore

Know this are well....Whangaparaoa peninsula

Just east of Waiwera

Safely down at Kaipara Flats

That would be Lake Waikere in your second leg- I use that as a referance point almost every day!

Looking forward to following this sim tour too, very realistic shots so far.

Another leg on my slow tour around NZ (hopefully Mikes Taupo wil be ready soon so I can add that!)...Coromandel to Whakatane..mostly over the Bay in an aircraft I havent flown much lately (Realair SF-260).

Had to fly the first stage of the flight twice as my mouse decided to control the joystick and ended up crashing into the sea whilst working what the heck was wrong...

Mayor Island

Motiti Island

Whakatane , with the Roger Walker terminal behind..
