Starting with NZ you can get thousands of NASA pics for anywhere in the world by opening and going to the bottom of the page you can arrow left up and down by going left you can go right around the world to finish up at the date line where this one starts

http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/clickmap/map215.htm

Have fun and see what the world looks like from the space station you can get the pics to save in low or high res but you have to request the high res ones

Wow again Doug....what an amazing site.
Ive just spent an hour grabing some of the "request" high res stuff....mainly 0f hurricanes and weather.

The request link takes you to another server, with an interesting little note at the top....."This US Government computer is for authorized users only. By accessing this system you are consenting to complete monitoring with no expectation of privacy. Unauthorized access or use may subject you to disciplinary action and criminal prosecution.
You are connected to server 2."

I wonder what "complete monitoring" means.. ninja.gif ....nothing to hide, so nothing to worry about.....hang on....whats that black ford explorer doing parked across the street winkyy.gif

What a great site....cheers Mr Moon thumbup1.gif

Yes, thankyou. I usually give up on NASA sites as they're too complicated or I'm too thick - don't answer that!

this is probably a little off Topic re: this thread topic - but anyway may be of interest to someone?

Nasa crew set for our space

The crew of American space shuttle Discovery are coming to Hamilton later this month to tour the sights and visit schools.
Hamilton will play launchpad for a nine-day visit from an entire Nasa space shuttle crew next month.

The six-strong crew of STS-133, who blasted into space aboard the shuttle Discovery on the spacecraft's final mission between February 24 and March 9, will land in the country on May 17.

They'll spend five days in Hamilton before heading to Christchurch on May 21.
