STOPGAP indeed , this one has a one wicked internal , match that with a Jan Kee s No.s 15and she is brill , stopgap is for the A2A Accusim variant , this model is superb in all respects and a lotta fun , mentioned get in the VC and it s a WOW

, now to get you on to TS3 and into Multiplay . !
It was a toss up between this, the Turbine Duke and the Flight 1 Islander....
Yeah not sure about the whistle...must listen carefully next time I hear a Mustang. Its a fantasically modelled aircraft inside and out...probably the best in my hangar (very nice Jankees repaint as well - can we have a Dove of Peace & a Wellington TAF repaint next pretty please?) . I liked the idea of flying warbird as kitted out today and will make a great companion to my Realir Spitfire...I need to brush up my landing skills as its a bit more difficult than the Spitfire. All I need now is a nice late model Kittyhawk (and perhaps a Seafury), although I'm still keen on getting an A2A product one day -- I'm waiting for the MkV Spitfire.
The model I got was the Part 2 version which includes "Little Rebel" which is an ex RNZAF Mustang so I wrapped Jankees repaint around this ..perfect match!
Multiplay is a bit difficult with kids sleeping not to far from my PC...
Mustangs are very photogenic...Last edited by Naki on Sun May 22, 2011 9:15 am, edited 1 time in total.

Thank you Oldendirt - your guess came up trumps. If i can return the favour - the paint can be found here -

I've been away and trying to catch up with all thats happening in NZFF. One of the downsides of some of these posts it that everyone assumes that everyone else knows what they're talking about. I dont! Whose 'stang is this and where can I obtain the 'paint please?
Cheers

Mustangs don't generally whistle - unless the gunports aren't sealed.
The big whistler is the Corsair, through those big oil coolers on the wing roots, especially on a hot day when the vents are open a tad.
