Hi guys,

I just found this video of unclaimed baggage being destroyed in NZCH...pretty sad actually. I don't think they have any dangerous in them....

Reminds me when i arrived back in CHCH .. least staff had the nogging on figuring our were i was wandering around the airport looking for me with my baggage , i was only in the cockpit chatting to the pilot for little under an hour , the time off the night , should say morning but they kept searching for me ! ... I did not have to go to the Dump

Shocking really. So many people in CHCH lost so much in the quake, yet this stuff is being munched up. It's immoral.

One phone call to one charity could have sorted that.

Not really. The bags were donated to Christchurch International Airport to test the new baggage system at the new terminal. The bags were not really in condition to give to charity(Most likely were bags with holes)

But still, it is quite silly of Christchurch airport doing it while one of the biggest planes at Christchurch airport are watching. They didnt have to do it right in front of a loaded plane.

Well - I certainly jumped to conclusions on that one!! I even thought the bags were full of stuff!
