Ooooooh! My favourite "modern" jet! wub.gif

Whose version is that? And ... what are you using to get your wingmen (please don't say Photoshop laugh.gif)?

I spent a lot (too much!) time with Su-27 Flanker, then LOMAC. Most of it was online - with a very friendly Flanker community. I was even sad enough to go to a couple of large net-meets, which were hilarious! The flight models with both Su-27 Flanker and LOMAC are very realistic. I think I had some old version for FSX, but it flew like a toy.

Hate to say this, but the repainter may have to spend a couple of years in the Gulag for getting the Polish insignia wrong. It's always a red square at the top left winkyy.gif It was probably painted by a Rooshian laugh.gif

No its not photoshop, the formations are part of the AFS design package....hes done heaps. Im not sure if they would appeal too much to a purist type simmer.....nice, but basic internals by present standards....but good fun.

What was this joke, Ian? I must've missed it (possibly 'cos I don't watch TV laugh.gif).

I've seen the Flanker displayed a fair few times - sometimes by the legendary Kvotchur himself - and it's an experience that's hard to forget! Apart from the Concorde (and the inevitable Spitfire, of course) the Su-27 was one of the few aircraft displays where the sandwiches stopped half-way and the crowd just went *silent*. Awesome.

You 'Formation Man' surprised you have not reinstalled the Red Arrows since you run FS9 , from the tower , it did look impressive for its time , Dak man , Mark ' Dark Moment' Beaumont did design it ways back in 2002 , upgraded for 2004 , they would pretty snazzy with the new hi-res clouds biggrin.gif

I think i prefer the typhoon and F-4 shots over these.....i love the flanker, but .....i dont know, maybe I'll take them down to south westland .....everything looks good flying over that part of NZ.

Excellent shots Marty - a finger four with a left hand variation - how politically correct. My AFS Mig29 comes with just the three ship flight, like your F4's.

Funny, that ... I have the AFS Tornado flavour ... labelled a 4-ship but only 3 in the air at any one time!

EDIT: Reading BBC online news, it appears #4 was sent home early after some late-night alcohol-related incident laugh.gif

Good to see FOUR aicraft flying in the same screenshot, so now we have something else to try out!!!

The second shot looks great, good angle and the four aicraft and their colours make a nice shot. And perhaps an idea for a multiplayer formation flight?

smooth landings

On the norm we get 3 to 4 excluding the 3 to 4 that jump in from the outside during a MP , imagine the screen shots ! ohmy.gif
