An Afternoon At Windy Wellington

A separate section for photographers to upload and comment on everything from amateur plane spotting images to professional air to air shots.

So i spent a good hour or so down at Wellington tis afternoon, with my first planespotting trip biggrin.gif. Had some great fun taking photos, from a pretty wicked spot! (Complete with park bench for the required height boost to shoot over the fence!)

Hope you like 'em smile.gif

First up is "The Rock". I never realised how awesome, yet somehow menacing, the terminal is from this end.

Not sure of the Rego, but it pulled up outside the LifeFlight hangar. Met ny an ambulance but i wasnt paying attention, and never saw a patient

ZK-FML was doing Touch'n'goes the whole time i was there.

Does anyone know if it is finished, and if yes, who might be held responsible?

Yes it is finished, and it's brought to you by the same morons who think that copying the Hollywood sign is a great way to show off how creative and exciting Wellington is....WTH?

Don't know sorry, but it looks very out of place with the rest of the terminal looking very normal. All or nothing i say!

Nice lighting and colours. Love the shots of the Dash8/Q300's - I reckon they have the best "feel" as they throttle up for take-off, really pushes you back in your seat and sounds great. biggrin.gif

Not really a fan of the International Terminal from the outside, but was in there about 3 months ago and it's pretty cool inside winkyy.gif

Unsure whether it's the exact one, but Garden City at CHC have a King Air with a very similar paintjob winkyy.gif
