I'm going over to Wigram tomorrow to take a looksie and try get some half decent pictures..
Will it be coming out of the hanger anytime soon? (would like to get some images of it in daylight)
Yes it will, there are going to be a few meetings and things in the aircraft hall and they need to take the A-4, the Avenger and mustang out for those....i think thats coming up soon....I'll let you know.Adamski wrote:QUOTE (Adamski @ Jun 17 2011,5:08 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Great pics! Considering the number of restored/flying Hawker Hunters there are in the world it's a shame that nobody's grabbed one of these.
It is a shame Norma, but the U.S State department has the final say on who gets what....and private sales(to fly) are a big no at this point, so Im told.

Im not sure what you mean....before the rudder and elevator were put back? As it is now, the elevator is in that position because of hydraulics....and a bit hard to move back ...and the gap or hole you can see is just because the elevator is in such an extreme postion.
Once she comes out of the hanger again, these and a few few other things will be dealt to.
