I have, notably the Airtruk. Maybe that's just the relief of knowing that it will be gone soon? laugh.gif

Actually viewed the F2 Tornado way back in 1988 at Richmond NSW , but to see both GR3 and F111's was at Avalon , was the 2001 show comparing off the swept wing attack , Russians were to be there but had a tiff with USA , other big swing wing not displayed but static was the Lancer . cool.gif

Tremendous pics, Marty! Yummy! Thanks for posting! thumbup1.gif

Back in my old graphics days in Gloucestershire, these things used to scream down the valley. We would often be looking *down* into their cockpits.

I still think (as do many people) that the old Digital Integration Tornado sim was one of the finest combat sims ever produced. The mission editor has never been bettered.

Amen to that! In fact I still have it in the hangar somwhere. Does anyone know if this can be made to run under Win 7 somehow (emulator?)

You really *don't* want to do that, honest! The last time I ever had it running was under XP (I think) ... after many kludges to try and get sound and/or joystick working. Whilst the mission editor was there in all its glory, the aircraft and scenery graphics looked so dated it made you want to cry. The memory of it is so much better than the reality. Things really have moved on in the GFX ... but I often wonder whether flight models and general GUI have kept up.

I hope not laugh.gif ... I think the F-111's an ugly looking thing with no redeeming features. Gimme an Airtruk with afterburners any day!
