It's times like those when having an all-glass canopy really doesn't look like a good idea. I saw a photo similar to that yesterday with a Spitfire during the war, except it stopped there, perched on its nose. ohmy.gif

Cheers Paul digging that up , i wonder that they said about the nose wheel strut , faulty casting ( carbon fiber i guess) or was it a rabbit hole . Would have been a hell off a ride !
