767 prize from June competition

As I have been away in Wellington I was unable to start flying my prize aircraft from the June competition until the end of this last week. Many failed takeoff attempts followed before I decided to check the requirements; I seem to have an aversion to reading the manuals etc until I absolutely need to. I'm guessing that I'm probably not alone in this...

+4 degrees of flap trim and take offs were sweet. I've only flown a few flights but must admit that I'm getting to quite enjoy this aircraft. Thanks to Scott from Just Flight for putting up the prizes for last month and particularly for the idea of a random draw which meant that I at least had a chance against all the great entries.

These shots were from a short flight from Nelson to Wellington. Arriving at Wellington I found cloud cover down to sea level so the landing approach was a bit tricky for me. No doubt the experts among you do that sort of zero visibility flights for fun!

Runway approach lights finally appear out of the gloom - sighs of relief followed!

Nice set of screens scaber.....and re " I seem to have an aversion to reading the manuals " send it to me or Adam....not sure about him , but a good systems manual is normal bedtime reading for me.....love them

Nice prize. Glad to see you're airborne and making the approach. Most sim models, I've found, will fly given sufficient nose-up trim. As those red runway-end lights approach. start clicking the trim a little faster and, as you lift off, get the gear up so you don't carry away any of the airport infrastructure.
