A good old friend of mine was a Chief Petty Officer pilot of PBY's when Pearl Harbor happened. He was immediately 'mustanged' to the rank of ensign, eventually retiring as Lieutenant Commander. He said the shock of going from CPO to ensign was worse than an ice cold shower.

Really is a beautiful place. I sort of want to buy it to cure the urge to want to go back, but I don't think it works like that. laugh.gif
