Not particularly relevant to the NZ members... unless you have to also be a British Citizen... They're just going to ship all the cadets to NZ to do their basic training, much like they currently do now for the "CTC Wings" program that EasyJet/Ryanair et al use...

Congrats to CTC tho, they've effectively managed to secure some solid business for themselves!

Not really liking this part tho: "Under the program, British Airways provides guarantee to enable applicants to secure a bank loan for the funding required for their flying training, and a conditional offer of a contract of employment to successful candidates."

Considering the guys here in the UK are paying in excess of £75-80k... (note: that's pounds! ohmy.gif) for the equivalent of a CPL/MEIR and a MCC (Multi Crew Course)... possibly also a 737 or A320 Type rating... that's >NZ$150k... as a BANK LOAN?!!?!!!
