Shade for FSX

A forum specifically to discuss the latest and greatest of all flight simulators

Hi all

I've just got Shade for FSX. The other addons I'm running is ENB (which I'm using for slight bloom and darker nights; nothing too outrageous), Active Sky, and VLC. Just wondering, those of you who are running Shade, which preset do you think works the best with New Zealand? I'm using "Shade Default 1.01" at the moment, but wondering if those that have played with it more have discovered a gem in there.

Thanks
Coffee

Im not sure i totally understand it or if when i got the email i even updated properly ,i dont see the default 1.01 preset, i have "shade default" but nothing that says 1.01 unless this is the update you are talking about ,anyway i dont use the ENB but are liking the blue daze preset for Shade which to me looks nice, ive done some custom setups but dont see much need trying to work it out as im happy with the sets they have supplied .
nothing really constructive or helpful but im hoping that i learn something from this topic.. thumbup1.gif

ok this is the Winter Chills preset. Shade has made my ENB a bit too 'bloomy' as you can see:

Cool, thanks. I'll try the ENB settings that apparently come with Shade as well. My settings at the moment means that I lose a lot of blue from my sky and it becomes a bit too white. But what it's doing to the ground is perfect, and the dusk and nighttimes are perfect too... If anyone is an expert with ENB settings, I'd appreciate some help here. I can post my settings tonight

With the issue of v1.02, the developer said he was readying a video to show the 'who, where and what' of his program. Can't wait.
