Be the largest and most difficult due to the agricultural lime and fertilizer factories and warehouses

But in general it blends in very well , still a few touch ups to do

Heading towards the river gives some feel your in the region ,

so use to crossing the bridge into Tinwald , sister town on the Southern side off the river

Hope ful this be the third made for VLC type town , more will sprout up .

Course looking back you have Ashburton Airport

be good to get tree belts made and continue , this and many other s

Be nice to see someone give the lower North Island some decent scenery treatment like this! The Hutt Valley, for example, in FS is friggin awful!

Strangely I touched the region years ago , you could put the freeware Wellington , course you have to take out the airport . Like most areas RealNZ Auckland /Wellington stood the test off time .. when first done .

Gosh we are so lucky to have such a dedicated and talented bunch of people. We owe so much to you guys!

I'm trying to learn but it takes so much time. I've just been layed off again so I will have some time on my hands for awhile.

Expect some dumb and stupid questions wink.gif

Thanks again guys, keep up the good work,

Paul

When you're all caught up, Ian, there are several areas in Alaska which could use your help smile.gif.

As far as I'm aware, there is yet to be an FSX native scenery release for Wellington, or anywhere in the lower North Island.

Unless you count VLC, which is a national thing....would be nice to see us get some love from the scenery pro's who seem to spend all their time these days doing SI or Taupo North. Sure those places are worth the attention, but come on! What about the middle of the country people!??!?

And yes, I know I could have a go, but I have literally got NO time - when you spend nearly 4 hours each day commuting, there isn't a lot of time to spend doing other things... sad.gif

You mean apart from RealNZ Wellington FSX which we have had for years and is still superb quality + the freeware Paraparaumu + the free 2.5m mesh of Wellington from WCC....???????????????

FSX native he said ,Wellington is a 2004 port over ,yes still ok though there is now better high res images for the airport which would make a really nice modern AP +pumpkin and other things that have happened over the last 4 years or so ,would be a good project to choose to do ..

RealNZ Wellington was ported from FS9 unless I'm mistaken...and the godzone NZPP release was built around the photoreal region that came with the RealNZ Wellington. As for the 2.5m mesh, thats a mesh, not what I'd call "scenery".
