A Dash-8 crashed in PNG leaving 28 dead. Both pilots survived (an Australian and a New Zealander). Do we know any details?

No, there hasn't been any mention of a fire but it seems strange that the two people sitting at the front of the plane survived and many in the cabin didn't.

also adding , the terrain is also a large factor , so rugged in that area , cross a knoll and you survive , only that second counts
