Concorde!

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

I've never really taken to Concorde in flightsim, too fussy for my taste.
But there's a new version by Libardo Guzmán García at flightsim.com that took my fancy.

I like the satin finish, although probably not 100% authentic.
I took it around NZ at 55,000 and it doesn't take very long... NZAA - NZCH went by in 19 minutes!

It's not terribly manoeuvrable - this is what a max-rate Mach 2 turn looks like

It has a good VC (apart from some dubious cockpit figures), and effects.
I have replaced my entry in this month's screenshot contest with it, I am so pleased.

Eeks! I just realised why ANZ didn't buy a half dozen of these...
I thought HK was being conservative, you'd be running out of legs before you even got to Guam!
OK Auckland-Sydney-Singapore-Dubai-Paris, then.
Somehow "first stop Sydney" doesn't have quite the trans-continental ring of glamour you need for a lady of this pedigree...
