Postby dbcunnz » Mon Oct 31, 2011 11:08 pm

Welcome to the NZFF November 2011 Screenshot Competition.

Please read the rules before entering.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004 or FSX,) and the position of the shot must be from somewhere within the New Zealand territory.

2) Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels -- A good free resizing program can be found at http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm.
No txt or borders on the image. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer that can be cropped to fit the banner; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from November 1st until midnight 30th November 2011, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

6) This month's theme: Under 50ft AGL or ASL on short finals but before touchdown into any airfield in New Zealand (Please state Aircraft details and the Airfield in New Zealand the image was taken)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have an excellent prize for this month’s competition very generously donated by

The voting will take place after the competition closes at the end of the month and the winner with the highest vote and the second place member will both get a prize each.

For the November competition prize winners can pick a download product of their choice from CARENADO

Just a warning please read the rules and comply to them, we are still getting images to small and also not in JPG.
If members persist putting undersize and none JPG images in they may find their image deleted

The reason for this is that it takes up a lot more of my time converting images back to JPG and undersize images are unsuitable for the NZFF banner.
Members who enter undersize images and win the comp may find that their image is not on the banner but the second highest in the vote has their image placed in the banner

Another question....would a full afterburner 50 feet AGL , wheels up "approach" to the crowd line.....at an airshow count. Or is the spec , just landing.
Ive given up on the water landing idea....to much debate.
